The Beginning
First dev blog entry yippee! This will largely be devoted to just posting updates but maybe I'll ramble on about the process too. As much as I'll let myself do so because the visual novel isn't gonna develop itself.
As of now, the prologue is well underway. I have to do a major project for college this year and I used that as an excuse to work on this. As a result you can expect the prologue to be done within the next few months, or else I've horrifically failed college!
Current progress on the prologue is roughly like this:
- The entire script is written, with some changes being made on the fly during implementation.
- All individual character sprites are done.
- A large portion of backgrounds and CGs are done.
- Some music is done. Much of it still to be made.
- SFX still untouched.
- In game UI is more or less done. Menus and stuff are untouched.
- Some coding has been done. Lot's more to do.
Overall it's going pretty well and this shit might be out in a timely manner.
